CQD colloquium series

Since the winter semester 2021, Lauriane has been organising the Colloquium series of the Heidelberg Center for Quantum Dynamics (CQD), funded by the Cluster of Excellence STRUCTURES. The center gathers scientists working on ultracold atoms, Rydberg gases, quantum optics, ultrashort laser pulses, many-body dynamics and many topics more, for more information see here. The Colloquium series is a key aspect of the center's life where distinguished international speakers present their latest achievements. The main talk are always preceded by a short 15-minutes talk by a young member of the center.

Doctoral Training on Atoms and Photons 2026 in Les Houches, France

Together with Quentin Glorieux and Igor Ferrier-Barbut, we were organizing a Doctoral Training on Atoms and Photons, taking place at the École de Physique des Houches (France) from June 22nd to July 3rd 2026. This school is focussed on light–matter interaction, quantum optics, ultracold atoms and molecules, photonics, quantum simulation, and quantum science. The event was primarily intended for PhD students and early-career researchers. The program included lectures and seminars from the invited speakers (list available on the website here!) and several poster sessions for extended discussions between participants. This school was organized within the partnership between the Les Houches School and the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation.

QSEC2022

Lauriane was part of the organizing committee of “QSEC2022”, the International Conference “Quantum Systems in Extreme Conditions “. The conference took place from November 14 to November 18 2022 in Bingen am Rhein(Germany).
